However, Trimble is the better choice for fleets that prioritize routing and dispatch optimization or are already invested in the Trimble ecosystem. Trimble's PC*MILER integration and CoPilot navigation create a routing experience that Samsara simply cannot match. Large enterprise fleets running Trimble TMS will benefit from the deep native integrations.
For mid-size fleets (20-200 trucks) that want an all-in-one platform with the best safety technology, Samsara is the recommendation. For large fleets (500+) with complex routing needs and existing Trimble infrastructure, staying with Trimble makes economic and operational sense.
