Convoy (now Flexport) offers genuinely good technology — instant booking, clean app, transparent rates. The Flexport acquisition has expanded the shipper network, which is a positive development. However, the below-market rates and limited tools mean it works best as a free supplement alongside your primary load board. Use it for quick loads and deadhead avoidance. The traditional load board model still wins for carriers who negotiate their own rates.
